Technical detail
SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user 'u989108460_metacortexuser'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
Table names use the mc_blog_* prefix from that SQL file (database u989108460_metacortex_db). Then add posts in admin or run database/import_legacy_blog_posts.sql.
Terminal works but this page does not? The web server often uses a different PHP than php in Terminal. Open blog-web-db-probe.php in the browser (then delete that file), or after admin sign-in use admin/db-check.php. Enable pdo_mysql in the php.ini your Apache/MAMP stack loads, and run brew services start mysql (or start MySQL in MAMP) so the server is running.
